Summer Camps 2022
Code Ninjas Camps offer an immersive environment for children to explore technology, develop new skills, and have a great time with friends.
It’s an unforgettably fun learning experience!
WHEN
We have camps all year around in the school holidays.
All camps run from Mon - Fri except on Bank holidays. Check individual camps below for dates and times.
All camps are broken into morning and afternoon camps and can be booked to make a whole day camp.
AM - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
PM - 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Full day - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Just enrol your child in both half day options for any given week and stay the entire day and entire week.
Drop Off: 8:45 am for morning camps and 12:45 pm for afternoon camps
Camp Tuition
Half Term Camps: Early Enrolment cost for each half-day (AM/PM) week long camp is £160.
Summer Half Term & Summer Camps: Early enrolment price for each half day week camp is £120 before 15th May and £160 before 30th June respectively.
Full Day Week long camps will be £250, when you book two half day camps (5 days) to make a full day week long. More Savings!
Payment in full at the time of registration.
Early drop off (8:30am): £10 per day.
Late pick up (4:15 pm): £10 every 10 minutes or part thereof. Payment for late pickup payable at time of pickup.
Become a YouTuber
Ages: 7+
Ninjas will learn how to create and customize their own YouTube channel, including the design of unique channel art, prole pictures, and video thumbnails. They will also be guided through how to record, edit, and upload videos.
Throughout camp, ninjas will analyse popular YouTube videos and learn about copyrights and fair use to give them what it takes to become a YouTuber!

Intro to Roblox Development
Ages: 7 - 14
In this hands-on, fully guided camp experience, ninjas learn the basics of game building and creative development in an exciting, user-generated online gaming platform called Roblox!
This camp will teach ninjas how to plan, design, and build their own 3D world to create much more than just a game!

Code Your Own Robot in Minecraft
Ages: 8+
Ninjas will use code to control a robot in Minecraft Education Edition®. Through simple programming, they'll apply complex computer science concepts to automate the boring parts of Minecraft® such as farming, digging and more. Ninjas will use concepts like loops and functions to code crazy things like spawning hundreds of chickens from the sky! They will have a blast sharing their work and playing in a world together with their fellow campers.

Robotics with Lego
Ages: 8+
Throughout this camp, Ninjas will make silly dancing robots, a working safe with password detection, a racing rhino, and more! Using the LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime robotics kit, Ninjas will learn the fundamentals of how to design, build, and code robots. They will also apply their new knowledge of sensors, motors, and coding as they construct their own creations.

Jr STEM Discoveries
Ages: 5 - 7
JR Ninjas, come discover the world of STEM by designing and building hands-on projects. You will learn about electricity, building, and more. Plus, you will get to take your projects home!
Created for our youngest Ninjas, this camp is all about becoming a maker with STEM while designing and building hands-on projects! Electric playdough, marble machines, and tall towers are just a few of the fun projects kids will tackle as they develop their engineering and design skills.

Intro to Web Development
Ages: 9 - 14
Are you ready to build your own website? During this camp you will gain a foundational understanding of HTML and CSS as you create and present your very own website.
Ninjas will learn about creative website development by building their own website and fan page. As Ninjas work on various project prompts, they will gain a foundational understanding of HTML and CSS. Using these essential computing languages, Ninjas will publish websites and share links to showcase what they've learned.

Jr Adventures in Game Design
Ages: 5 - 7
JR ninjas will build a foundation of basic coding concepts by creating various ScratchJr games – such as Space Jam, Secret Agent and Maze Olympics.
By remixing these games as their own, ninjas will learn game design concepts, including how to make backgrounds and characters, create and hide objects, and code arrow keys!

3D Design & Print
Ages: 8+
Explore 3D design in Tinkercad and print some amazing creations! Ninjas will tinker and apply creativity to code their own custom models. Along the way, they will learn tips, techniques and associated best practices for exciting explorations in 3D modeling and printing.

JR Makers with Microcontrollers
Ages: 5 - 7
this camp introduces the magical world of physical computing and storytelling with a microcontroller called micro:bit. JR Ninjas will learn how sensors and electronics can make household items, such as playdough, cardboard, and aluminum foil come to life!
JR Ninjas will leave camp with an introductory understanding of circuitry, sensors and how they interact with programming fundamentals.

Stop Motion Animation
Ages: 8+
Tap into the incredible world of Stop Motion Animation and learn techniques from the ground up to create your own movies!
Ninjas will experiment with video production through a variety of mediums including Claymation, LEGO® Minifigures, paper cutouts, and more! Capturing images frame-by-frame, they will produce videos in a rapid prototyping style. Ninjas will work on various shorts including magic trick illusions, a 3-part story, walking character animations, and more! They will work independently on their videos and collaborate in teams during the entire design process.

Camp Details
Strict COVID-19 protocols for in-centre camps: staff wear face coverings , daily temperature checks, frequent sanitising and cleaning of the centre
Most camps need no prior coding experience, unless otherwise indicated. Campers can take same camps multiple times as projects will be customized to each camper each week.
Camps labeled "Ages 8 +" are designed for kids ages 8-14 years old. For camps labeled Ages 8+, instructors provide customized projects based on age & skill level. They also divide campers in age/skill appropriate groups.
There are camps which are labeled “11+”, are for kids 11 - 14 years old.
For camps labeled "Ages 5-7", camper must have had their 5th Birthday before camp start date.
Call us for your 7 year old, if they wish to participate in camps labelled "Ages 8+" and we will guide you!
For in-center camps, Code Ninjas provide all equipment necessary for each camp.
We do not provide snacks, lunch or drinks at the centre. Campers bring their own nut-free snacks and clear drinks. Full day campers bring lunch and remain at the Centre during lunch time.
